Representing ReEarth Club in a Meeting on Nutrition and Agroecology

On 19 April 2026, I represented ReEarth Club, BRUR as the club’s Secretary at a meeting organised by Sustainable Agriculture Foundation (SAF), where we exchanged ideas on potential areas of collaboration.

The meeting brought together representatives from different organisations and institutions, including Sophie van den Berg, Scientific Project Manager at the University of Lausanne, Cornelia Speich, Project Manager at Schweizerische Tropen, and representatives from ESDO.

The discussion focused on several interconnected areas, including nutrition, sustainable food systems, startup development and agroecology. We explored opportunities for youth-led entrepreneurship in the agriculture sector and discussed how agroecological practices can contribute to more sustainable food systems at both community and campus levels.

As a representative of ReEarth Club, I also shared an overview of the club’s activities, ongoing initiatives and future directions. The conversation provided an opportunity to present our work, exchange perspectives and explore possible avenues for collaboration.

The meeting was particularly valuable because it connected youth-led environmental action with broader conversations around sustainable agriculture, food systems and community resilience.

For me, participating as the club’s Secretary was an opportunity to represent ReEarth Club in a wider collaborative space and contribute to discussions that align closely with our work on environmental sustainability and youth engagement.
