On 21 July 2026, ReEarth Club, BRUR set up its recruitment booth along the Academic Building Road at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, as part of our new member recruitment drive.
I was involved in engaging with students who visited the booth and introducing them to the work, values and activities of ReEarth Club. We spoke about our work around nature, environmental stewardship, climate justice and social justice, while encouraging students who share these interests to become part of our community.
Recruitment is not only about welcoming new members. It is also an opportunity to connect with young people who want to learn, participate and contribute to meaningful change. Through conversations at the booth, we tried to create a space where students could learn about the club and explore how they could get involved.
Being part of this recruitment drive was another opportunity for me to contribute to building a stronger youth-led environmental community at the university.
